About JPG to PDF

You photographed an Aadhaar card, a marksheet or a bill, and now a PDF is being asked for. Drop all the photos in at once, set the order and build an A4 PDF. Margin and page size are up to you.

How to convert JPG to PDF — step by step

  1. Add your photos — JPG, PNG or WebP, as many as you like.
  2. Arrange them in the order you want the pages to appear.
  3. Choose the page size and margin. A4 with a small margin suits most forms.
  4. Build the PDF and download it.

The most common reason people need this

You photographed your Aadhaar card, a marksheet or a set of bills, and the form wants a PDF. Portals ask for PDFs because a PDF is one file with a fixed page order — five loose photos are five uploads that can arrive in any sequence.

Each photo becomes one page, in the order you set, so the office sees the document the way you intended.

Getting the pages to look right

Set orientation to Auto and a landscape photo lands on a landscape page instead of being shrunk into a portrait one. Keep a small margin — printers cannot print to the very edge of a sheet, and a borderless PDF gets clipped.

Photograph documents straight on and in good light. If your photos are tilted or the paper looks grey, run them through the Document Scanner first; it straightens the page and whitens the background, and the resulting PDF looks like a real scan rather than a phone snap.

If the PDF comes out too large

Photos from a modern phone are several megabytes each, so ten of them make a heavy PDF. Run it through Compress PDF afterwards, or shrink the individual photos first with Image Resize if the form also sets pixel dimensions.
