Put a page number on every page
Project reports, theses and court files all need page numbers. Choose the position (bottom centre, bottom right, top) and the format (1 / Page 1 / 1 of 10), and the whole PDF is numbered in one click.
Court filings, tender submissions, project reports and college assignments routinely require numbered pages, and a merged bundle of separate documents has no numbering at all. Adding it afterwards keeps a submission in order and lets people refer to a specific page.
Legal and tender bundles often want continuous numbering across several documents. Merge everything into one file first with Merge PDF, then number the whole thing, so the sequence runs unbroken from the first page to the last.
If your document follows a cover sheet that is numbered separately, set the starting number so the sequence continues correctly. For formal bundles where each page needs a unique reference, Header, Footer & Bates adds Bates numbering with a prefix.
